Session 1
Introduction to the AI tools worth knowing, how to write effective prompts and a practical workflow for designing a teaching session. You'll start building your personal AI playbook immediately.
Course structure
The course runs over three weeks, with one live online session per week.
Session 2
Focus on assessment and feedback. You'll learn to generate high-quality MCQs, write OSCE stations with mark schemes and produce personalised learner feedback using AI.
Session 3
Covering case-based learning, Custom GPTs and responsible use. You'll build case discussions relevant to your own expertise, create reusable AI assistants and consolidate your workflows into a complete system.
Each session is 90 minutes, live and interactive. You'll need a computer, reliable WiFi and access to an AI tool (guidance provided on enrolment).
What You’ll leave with
By the end of the course, you are guaranteed to have created a complete, AI-supported teaching session on a topic of your choice, ready to deliver.

Do I neeed any technical experience?

No. This course is designed for medical educators, not IT experts. You don't need coding experience or a technical background. Everything is explained in plain language with practical, hands-on exercises. If you can use a web browser and write an email, you can learn to use AI effectively.
I’m busy. How much time does this take?

Three 90-minute live sessions over three weeks, plus time to practise between sessions. The course is designed for busy clinicians. The workflows you build are intended to save you time, not add to your workload. Most participants find that what they learn in session one already saves time before session two.
What if I miss a session?

Sessions are live and interactive, but wherever possible, recordings and catch-up materials are provided so you can review anything you miss. If you have specific scheduling concerns, get in touch before enrolling and I'll do my best to help.
