Why learn with me?
There are plenty of AI courses available. Most are generic, technical and disconnected from real clinical work. Mine are not.
I am an NHS educator first, and an AI trainer second. After more than 30 years in the NHS, including 14 years as an Emergency Medicine Consultant and over 20 years in medical education, I understand the realities of working in healthcare. As a Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University and Clinical Lecturer at Northumbria Trust, I have spent my career helping clinicians develop confidence in their skills. As an ILM Level 5 Coach, I understand how people learn and what holds them back.
My courses teach judgement, not just technology. You will learn when to use AI, when not to, how to think critically about outputs, and how to build workflows you can trust. Everything is grounded in real NHS examples: tomorrow's teaching session, email overload, clinic admin, preparing presentations. Not abstract demonstrations.
Most importantly, I have done the hard work so you don't have to. I have spent hundreds of hours working out what actually works, what is safe, what is relevant, and what clinicians genuinely need. What I share is distilled, practical and immediately useful.

WIll AI replace me?

No. AI is a tool that supports your expertise; it does not replace it. The philosophy behind everything I teach is simple: human before AI, human after AI. Your clinical judgement, professional experience and decision-making remain central. AI helps you work more efficiently, but the responsibility always stays with you.
I'm not technical. Will I cope?

Yes. These courses are designed for healthcare professionals, not computer experts. You do not need coding experience or a technical background. Everything is explained in plain language, with practical, hands-on exercises that build confidence step by step. If you can use a web browser and write an email, you can learn to use AI effectively.
Is this safe to use in the NHS?

Patient safety and data protection are central to everything I teach. The courses cover responsible use, confidentiality, recognising AI's limitations (including bias and hallucination), and knowing when not to use AI. I do not teach clinical applications of AI. The focus is on non-clinical tasks where AI can genuinely save time while keeping your professional responsibilities front and centre.
How much time will I actually save?

It depends on your work, but the time savings are real. Healthcare professionals who use AI well routinely cut preparation time for teaching sessions, reduce hours spent on administrative tasks, and produce higher-quality resources in less time.
